Update

Dear Parent/Guardian
I wish to raise awareness of the possibility of community transfer of Covid-19 and clarify that, if your child is displaying any symptoms such as a new, continuous cough and/or high temperature, they should self-isolate for 7 days.
I have sought the most up to date health advice via the PHA duty-room helpline and have been advised that parents should adhere to the following guidance:

I understand the concerns of parents, pupils and the wider school community and I wish to reassure you that I will continue to monitor the situation carefully, seeking further advice and clarification from the Public Health Agency and the Education Authority, as required.
