Spring has sprung in Primary 1

10th Apr 2024

Oh the excitement today in P1 today was unbelievable. Damien, the farmer brought in Fluffy, the 2 week old lamb. He enjoyed being fed his milk bottle by the kids and even took a wee tour of the school. He even did a poo and a pee on the ground, which the kids found hilarious!! Thanks to Casey, from P5 for helping today and telling us lots of interesting facts!!

Damien then brought 12 eggs to the classroom, for our incubator. These eggs have to be kept warm and moist and our chick monitors will keep a close eye on this every day. They have to put 30ml of Luke warm water into the incubator every day, to keep the eyes from becoming dry and hard

We hope that in 3 weeks time, we will have some happy fluffy wee chicks in our classroom.
We cannot wait until we see the chicks hatching and we just love learning about Spring!!!
