Primary 1 visit the church

The Primary 1 children had a lovely visit to the church today to see all the interesting things inside it. We are learning about what it’s like inside a church, what things we can see and what events happen there. 

We heard all about the altar, the sanctuary, the pulpit, the statues, the stained glass windows, the cross and of course the candles - which we light each week for our families.  

We have also been learning a new song……..
