P7 DreamSpace

P7 are diving into the world of digital creativity with DreamSpace Learning!
P7s participated in their second Dreamspace Ambassadors programme and they were introduced pupils to the micro:bit – a tiny programmable computer that’s packed with features like LED lights, buttons, sensors, and more. 

Using MakeCode.org, pupils explored online block-based programming, which works just like building with LEGO – snapping together colourful code blocks to create animations, games, and interactive tools. 

They learned how to: Display messages on the LED screen
 Use buttons to trigger actions
Create simple programs using loops and logic
Understand how coding can solve real-world problems

It’s all part of helping our pupils become confident, creative thinkers in a digital world. We’re so proud of their enthusiasm and curiosity and can't wait to share our knowledge with other classes!
