P5-Exploring the Human Body – Ancient Egypt Style! 

As part of our Ancient Egypt topic, P5 have been learning about the location of bones and organs in the human body. We explored how the Ancient Egyptians used their knowledge of anatomy during mummification, and compared it with what we know today about the body’s structure and function.

Pupils enjoyed hands-on activities, identifying key bones and organs, and discovering their roles in keeping us alive and healthy. It was a fantastic way to link history with science and deepen our understanding of both!
