P1 have LOVED learning GYMNASTICS!!!

The Primary 1 children have just completed their 6 week block of gymnastics. This involved a lot of balancing work, using the beams, travelling, making different body shapes, balance control on the benches and rolling in many different ways.

We are so grateful to have a gymnastic expert in the school, Ciara, who kindly came down today to show us how to roll properly. We did forward rolls, teddy bear rolls, back rolls, dish rolls and pencil rolls.

This was great fun and we really enjoyed it!! Thank you Ciara from Miss Nugent and Primary 1.
