ANTI-BULLYING WEEK 2020 & FREE RESOURCES

In the midst of uncertainty, one thing’s for sure… Anti-Bullying Week 2020 will take place from Monday 16th November – Friday 20th November 2020!

The Northern Ireland Anti-Bullying Forum (NIABF) coordinates Anti-Bullying Week in Northern Ireland and we are very pleased to announce that the theme for Anti-Bullying Week 2020 is United Against Bullying.

Children will be actively involved in a wide range of in class activities this week. 

 

INFORMATION FOR PARENTS

Parents can feel a range of emotions when they discover their child is being bullied. While initial feelings may include isolation, anger, sadness and guilt, it is important for you to remember there is a way forward.

This guide contains information about spotting the signs of bullying, the action you can take, your child’s rights, strategies and tips. We hope it will give you ideas about what might work, things you could try and will help you feel that you are not alone.

Please find attached a free parent / carere toolkit with some useful information.

Anti-Bullying Week 2020 Creative Arts Competition

As part of Anti-Bullying Week 2020, NIABF is running our annual creative arts competition for children and young people.

Entries open on Monday 19th October 2020.

Entries close at 4pm on Wednesday 16 December 2020.

Theme & Manifesto

Anti-Bullying Week 2020 will take place from Monday 16th November – Friday 20th November 2020. The theme of Anti-Bullying Week 2020 is ‘United Against Bullying’.
